This year Andy from The Von Pip Musical Express has orchestrated an alternative to the BBC Sound of 2012 poll, featuring artists recommended by a selection of music bloggers – not so much a two fingers to the official poll, more an alternative reflection on some of the most promising acts going into next year, as chosen by those who write about this kind of stuff on their own blogs on a regular basis.
